RacingLine Turbo Muffler Delete EA888 Gen.4 MQB VW Golf 8 GTI + Audi A3 8Y

The Tapered RacingLine Turbo muffler delete and silicone connection hose is one of the upgrades you must have for optimal flow of the intake air leaving the turbo towards the engine block. This turbo muffler delete is for the 2.0 TSI EA888.4 models with 245hp. Think of the VW Golf 8 GTI, Audi A3 8Y, Audi A1 Competition GB 207hp, Skoda Octavia IV vRS NX and Cupra Leon IV 245 TSI FW.

This turbo muffler delete from Racingline, ensures swirl-free flow of compressed turbo pressure. With the original turbo outlet, a design was chosen where a lot of vortices are created. This was chosen with the original turbo outlet to reduce turbo noise. However, this then causes power to be lost. The silicone connecting hose has a larger diameter that replaces the restrictive power-consuming compressor outlet with a smooth, turbulence-free air path exiting the turbo.

The original muffler delete has an inner diameter of 38mm throughout. The RacingLine turbo muffler delete has an inner diameter of 53mm and fits perfectly to the silicone hose. With this turbo muffler delete from RacingLine, you will get improved flow which will give you more torque and power.

Note: This item is not suitable for engines with 300hp and above (such as Golf 8R, Golf 8 GTI CS and Audi S3).
