The AKA Turbo Muffler Delete is a simple and inexpensive upgrade for a car of the MQB platform. The streamlined single billet design replaces the restrictive OEM part.
The standard muffler delete is located at the exhaust of the turbo to reduce the turbo noise. By muffling the sound of the turbo it adds disturbing turbulence to the airflow, exactly where you don’t want it. By replacing the OEM part with the AKA Turbo Muffler Delete, this section is replaced with a straight and unbroken piece, the result:
– Power gain
– Better turbo pressure
– More optimal turbo response
– Improved turbo sound quality
The AKA Turbo Muffler Delete is compatible with all factory IHI turbos used in the MQB-EA888 1.8 & 2.0 cars. The part is CNC machined from aluminum and hard anodized in high gloss black providing very little wear risk. The lasered AKA logo is the final touch.
