Met het toenemende motorvermogen is een goede koeling ook belangrijk. Als de inlaattemperatuur te warm is, is een prestatievermindering sterk merkbaar. Bij originele intercoolers en intercoolers die niet goed zijn gemaakt, wordt de lucht niet goed gekoeld omdat de intercooler niet voor de doorstroming is geoptimaliseerd. Mit zunehmender Motorleistung ist auch die richtige Kühlung wichtig. Wenn die Ansaugtemperatur zu warm ist, ist eine Leistungsminderung stark spürbar. Bei den originalen und bei nicht gut verarbeiteten Ladeluftkühlern wird die Luft nicht richtig gekühlt, weil der Ladeluftkühler nicht strömungsoptimiert ist. Das bedeutet, dass du mit abnehmender Leistung und damit auch mit weniger Spaß rechnen musst.
Hier lässt der LLK die Muskeln spielen. Er besteht aus speziellen Strömungsverteilungskanälen. Durch diese wird die Ladeluft erst richtig auf die gesamte Fläche des Kühlers verteilt. Dadurch wird nicht nur die effektive Motorleistung gesteigert, es erhöht sich auch die Klopffestigkeit und die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Motors samt Turbolader!
