Een betere oplossing om verkoling van de inlaatkleppen te minimaliseren bestaat er niet. De kit geeft uw motorruimte de perfecte look en de beste kit , met TUV.
Te veel verkoling van de inlaatkleppen kan leiden tot grote motorschade door het breken van de klep!
Andere nadelen van verkoling:
• Onregelmatig stationair draaien
• Vermogensverlies
Verkoling wordt veroorzaakt door long-life olie, inferieure brandstof en rijden van vele korte afstanden.
In het algemeen kan het verkolen niet worden voorkomen, alleen uitgesteld.
Daarom beveelt BAR-TEK® de installatie van de Oil Catchtank Kit aan.
Gesloten systeem. Met deze kit worden de oliedampen van het carter en de blokontluchting naar de catchtank geleid. Alle gassen gaan in de katalytische tank, worden gefilterd en gaan via een speciale slang terug naar de inlaat, stroomopwaarts van de turbocharger (alleen voor K03 en K04 turbochargers).

Let op bij gebruik in een koud klimaat:
De catchtank is in eerste instantie ontworpen voor een warm klimaat.
In de winter bij temperaturen onder 0°C kan de condens die zich in het systeem vormt, bevriezen. Dit zou resulteren in verhoogde carterdruk, wat kan leiden tot motorschade. BAR-TEK® raadt aan om het catchtanksysteem in de winter vaker te controleren en te legen of om het voor het koude seizoen helemaal te verwijderen.

Eine bessere Lösung, um Verkokungen der Einlassventile auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren, gibt es nicht. Das Kit verleiht deinem Motorraum die perfekte Optik und das ganze mit TÜV.
Zu stark verkokte Einlassventile können zu einem kapitalen Motorschaden durch Ventilabriss führen!
Weitere Nachteile der Verkokung:
• Unrunder Leerlauf
• Leistungsverlust
Die Verkokung an den Einlassventilen und im Einlasskanal entsteht durch Longlifeöle, minderwertigen Kraftstoff und häufigen Kurzstreckenbetrieb.
Generell läßt sich die Verkokung auch nicht verhindern, nur hinauszögern.
Deshalb empfehlt BAR-TEK® den Einbau des Öl Catchtank Kits, um den schmutzigen Gasen den Kampf anzusagen.
Das System ist komplett geschlossen. Mit dem Kit werden die Öldämpfe der Kurbelgehäuse- und Blockentlüftung in den Catchtank geleitet. Sämtliche Gase gehen in den Catchtank, werden gefiltert und über einen speziellen Schlauch wieder der Ansaugung, vor den Turbolader, zugeführt (nur bei K03 und K04 Turboladern)

Hinweis zur Nutzung bei kaltem Klima:
Der Catchtank ist vorrangig für ein warmes Klima konstruiert.
Im Winter bei Temperaturen unter 0°C kann das Kondenswasser, welches sich im System bildet gefrieren. Dadurch würde ein erhöhter Kurbelgehäusedruck entstehen, welcher zum Motorschaden führen kann. BAR-TEK® empfehlt das Catchtank System im Winter häufiger zu kontrollieren und zu entleeren oder für die kalte Zeit komplett zu entfernen.

The coking at the intake valves and in the intake duct is caused by long-life oils, inferior fuel and frequent short-distance operation.

Note for use in cold climates:
The Catchtank is designed primarily for a warm climate.
In winter at temperatures below 0°C, the condensation that forms in the system can freeze. This would result in increased crankcase pressure, which can lead to engine damage.
