The part is easy to install, the AKA Turbo Inlet has a large diameter, is CNC machined from an aluminum billet to replace the stock factory turbo inlet.
By removing the standard plastic elbow that provides very restrictive airflow for the turbocharger, the AKA turbo elbow reveals an impressive improvement in airflow by making the curve smoother to the turbo. This results in power and torque increases due to the faster turbo coil and increased airflow being generated. You will even hear an improved sound from your turbo which is a benefit for any enthusiast!
The AKA turbo elbow is applicable with all factory IHI Turbos used in the MQB-EA888 1.8T and 2.0T engines.
Assembly is very simple. The kit can be assembled in 10 minutes with the proper tools.
The AKA Turbo 90 Inlet Elbow is perfect to combine with other AKA Performance parts, such as the AKA Turbo Muffler Delete 2.0TSI EA888 MQB.
